  1. I was at a outside street fair in Tacoma, Wa. & saw a dog that looked like a wild Fox with a shorthair Orange coat & about 1 1/2 times the size of a fox. I talked to the couple that had it on a leash & they told me it comes from Japan.
    I’ve been unable to gleam infor on websites regarding dogs from Japan. Wished I would have taken a picture of it back then. Can anyone help me with this search?

      There are several dogs native to Japan that could fit this description, most notably, the Shiba-Inu. I would begin by researching the breed so that you can make sure it is a good fit for your family.
