Feline Wellness Care is Important to Your Cat's Health!

Wellness care for your cat will lead to a healthier, longer life for your feline family member. Along with your careful observations at home, annual or bi-annual (depending upon the age and medical condition of your cat) are an important part of your cat’s wellness care.

During our wellness exams, we will listen to their heart and lungs, inspect their skin and coat, ears, eyes, nose and throat of your pet. We will give your cat needed vaccines against infectious and potentially fatal diseases. Your cat’s wellness exam is a great time for you to speak with us about any questions or concerns you have regarding your cat’s health. We can discuss diet and nutrition, dental care, and behavior problems, mobility issues, or any lifestyle and age related changes.

For New Feline Patients

If your cat is new to our hospital, we ask that you bring his or her medical records to the first exam if possible. For the safety of your cat and the other clients and patients, please have cats stay in a secured carrier. Please fill out our new client form before bringing your cat in to save time.

Feline Vaccines

We can administer vaccines via injection. We provide the following vaccines for cats:

• Purevaxx FVRCP: Protects against Calcivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, and Feline Distemper.
• Purevaxx Rabies: Protects against common Rabies virus.
• FELV: Protects against Feline Leukemia.

Heartworm Check

On an annual basis we will test a small sample of blood to determine whether or not your cat has potentially fatal parasites in the lungs.

Nail Trims

We can trim your cat’s nails during your cat's wellness exam too!
